**Mechanical Maintenance Engineer**

**Loughborough, Leicestershire**

**Days (36-38 Hours)**

**Up to £35,000+ Benfits (Private Healthcare, Dental Cover, Travel Insurance)**

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. Youwill be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supportedby a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

**Role Description**
- Complete assigned maintenance task / requests (breakdown, preventive, modification or project work) in line with work order requirements and Permit to Work where required, ensuring completion within required timelines.
- Be capable of working on all key systems (applicable to their trades) within the LCD operating environment. This includes for example: Fire alarm system; fire deluge system; effluent plant; compressor systems.
- Carry out equipment and instrument testing on critical machinery throughout the plant in line with appropriate legislation applied to the operations.
- Fault find/inspection/function test using the appropriate test equipment on flow/level/pressure test/ hazardous area equipment.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Time served multi-skilled technician with proven expericnce with proven in a maintenance activity
- Willing to obtain additional qualifications required to fulfill the legal requirements pertinent to the required task (e.g. IPAF license etc.)
- Heavy engineering backgournd advantegous
