**The 4* Red Lion Hotel** is a unique 13th Century hotel located in central Salisbury - still retaining many of the original architectural details and features. Our stunning hotel attracts a wide range of interesting business all year round. Both properties are privately owned, with a solid reputation for delivering exceptional experience.

**About the role**This is a brand-new opportunity, suited to an individual with experience of painting and decorating commercial properties. The role would involve working closely with the hotel maintenance managers on various projects at each site, as led by the Operations Director.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check panting & decorating stock on a regular basis, liaising with the maintenance manager regarding ordering as necessary
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary
- Highlight an areas of work identified that are not on the project list
- Select appropriate materials and tools for each project
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on surfaces as needed
- Ensure work is completed according to specifications and within established timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Follow health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a painter and decorator
- Strong attention to detail to detail and genuine passion for your work
- Positive attitude and ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Valid UK driving license and reliable transportation

**Salary**: £25,000 with a potential for this to be coming a permanent position

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
