London, United Kingdom Aldermore Bank PLC Full time

Location: Can be based in Manchester or London

Contract Type: 12 month FTC

**Aldermore Group - why we exist**

We’re Aldermore - the award-winning bank, trusted and highly rated by over a quarter of a million customers for more than a decade. With our range of specialist mortgages, savings accounts and business finance solutions, we're backing more people to go for it.

We thrive by saying “yes” to our customers. We respect the ingenuity of entrepreneurs and their startups; we give first-timers a leg-up onto the property ladder; we open up the lending market to many; and thousands of customers chose Motonovo Finance every week to buy their next car, van or motorbike.

This is where you come in. We are on a journey. A journey defined by a destination; to deliver on our purpose.

**Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity**

We’re looking for someone to join our Centre of Excellence for Talent & Learning on a 12 month FTC, taking the lead on a range of high-impact projects and initiatives. This role offers full ownership across the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, through to delivery, evaluation and reporting with the chance to shape outcomes that make a real difference.

While the core focus will be on Talent & Learning priorities, you’ll also play a key role in wider HR deliverables, including initiatives linked to our EVP, colleague engagement, DEI, and our broader People strategy. It’s a role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, requiring critical insight, creativity, and a drive to deliver tangible results. With a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement, change delivery, and ROI, you’ll ensure every initiative creates clear and measurable value for our business.

**What will your day look like?**
- Taking end-to-end ownership of designated projects within the Talent & Learning Centre of Excellence, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, timelines and quality.
- Partnering with key stakeholders across HR and the wider business to fully understand requirements, expectations and desired outcomes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Project managing initiatives with appropriate levels of governance, risk management and stakeholder communication.
- Designing, implementing and evaluating solutions that may span talent, leadership, learning, engagement, EVP, DEI, or ESG initiatives.
- Building clear measures of success into project plans and evaluating ROI to evidence value and impact of interventions.
- Producing high quality documentation, progress reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across HR and the business to share knowledge, upskill others and embed outcomes into business-as-usual activity.
- Flexibly supporting the wider Talent, Learning & Culture team with ad hoc deliverables that contribute to the successful implementation of the Group People Strategy.

**What do we expect from you?**
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within agreed timescales.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships quickly.
- Critical thinker who can balance strategic perspective with a “hands-on” delivery approach.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define and measure ROI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a high-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the wider team and business.
- Passion for broader people initiatives (EVP, engagement, DEI, ESG) and an ability to integrate these considerations into project design and delivery.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience - Desirable
- CIPD L&D Level 5 or 7 (or equivalent) - Desirable

**What can you expect from us?**
- A friendly and flexible culture, the same as how we work with our customers.
- A growing organisation that means there’s lots of opportunities to progress
- A drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one.
- And of course, you will be rewarded competitively, with a good range of core benefits and bonus potential.

**Still curious?**

Join us and we’ll make the same promises to you as a colleague, as we do to each of our customers. We’re committed to building a working environment that values respect, diversity, and compassion. We welcome people regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, race, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, and whether you’re pregnant or on family leave.

**Please note that we have a thorough referencing process, which includes criminal record checks.**

We champion equality by supporting the exceptions to the rule and getting finance to where it’s needed.

We lend the money people save with us, to people who want to get on in life; build businesses and cre
