We have an exciting opportunity for a **full-time Human Resources Advisor** to join our HR team based in Exeter, but also serving our offices in Weybridge and Archamps. We offer hybrid-working, which allows employees to work up to 60% of their working time from home.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our small but dynamic HR team, where two days are never the same
**Reporting to the Managing Director, key aspects of the role will be to**:
- Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding processes
- Support managers in people management practices including and not limited to performance management, capability development, employee engagement and managing conduct
- Ensure that policies and procedures comply with current employment regulations
- Manage and resolve any employee relations issues which may arise, including providing support to line managers and employees
- Assess and implement the training and development needs of employees and the Company
- Manage and support the Company’s annual performance reviews, including training of line managers where required throughout this process
- Complete project work as required to develop areas such as reward, engagement, retention and talent development
- Oversee the HR budget and monitor KPIs for monthly reporting to the Managing Director
- Complete monthly payroll, ensuring all data is entered accurately, and records maintained
- Support and develop the HR Administrator
- 2-3 years of relevant HR experience in a generalist role or similar (essential)
- Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously
- Experience in advising and managing employee relations cases
- Strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Confident communicating to people at all levels of the organisation, both 1:1 and within a group setting
- Ability to interpret, analyse and present information clearly and effectively
- Up to date knowledge of UK employment law legislation
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent (desirable)
- Line management experience (desirable)
- Prior experience running payroll processes (desirable)
