**Key Responsibilities**:

- Acquire skills to identify and locate automotive parts using electronic catalogs, manuals, and computer systems.
- Work closely with service technicians and mechanics to ensure precise parts ordering and timely delivery.
- Manage incoming parts shipments by receiving, inspecting, and organizing them with attention to accuracy and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels through regular audits and stock checks, placing orders to replenish as needed.
- Utilize point-of-sale systems for processing transactions, generating invoices, and managing customer accounts.
- Offer technical advice, product recommendations, and pricing information to customers.
- Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism, aiming for satisfactory resolutions.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding parts sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to boost your product knowledge and customer service skills.

**Working Schedule**:

- A typical workweek consists of 40 hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, although specific hours may vary based on dealer needs.
- Approximately 20% of your total hours will be dedicated to 'off-the-job' training, combining online classrooms with in-person learning at The Performance Academy in Slough.

As an apprentice, you will be part of our Dealer Network and will participate in week-long block training at our cutting-edge Training Centre in Slough. This training is complemented by regular coaching visits from experienced mentors, along with virtual classroom sessions and e-learning modules. **Qualification Details**:

- The Programme lasts for 12-14 months and you'll achieve a nationally recognised qualification: Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse 12 months +12 weeks for EPA (End Point Assessment)
- Salary: Our employers determine the level of pay our learners receive. All employers are required to pay, at least, The National Apprenticeship Wage.

**Entry Requirements**:

- Must be 16 years or older.
- Achieve Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Strong interest in vehicle parts and inventory management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn from experienced parts advisors and follow instructions.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and communication.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
