The University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) delivers high-quality and distinctive educational programmes for adult learners, predominantly studying on a part-time basis, for either personal enrichment or professional development. ICE aims to ensure that the expertise and resources of the University of Cambridge are made available to all students, irrespective of their previous educational achievements.

The role holders will support the Quality Assurance and Committee Coordinator and the Head of Quality Assurance and Improvements in the management of the quality assurance of the Institute. They are part of the team which acts as the primary interface with the University's Education Quality and Policy Office and the Office for Student Conduct, Complaints and Appeals. The role holders will also play a key role in supporting various committees at ICE, acting as secretary to the Committees and assisting in the management of the fulfilment of the terms of reference.

The role-holders will support the compilation, revision and checking of documentation relating to the Institute's academic and pastoral responsibilities for use by applicants, students, panel tutors and administrative and academic staff. They will also support the Quality Assurance and Committee Coordinator in communicating, documenting and implementing a range of quality assurance processes relating to changing requirements from external and central University bodies etc.

The successful applicant will have relevant administrative experience including minute-taking and committee-servicing experience, together with excellent IT and communication skills. You will also understand and deliver a high level of customer service, and have the ability to work accurately and efficiently, independently or as part of a team.
