Aat Accounting Lecturer

We are working with a Further Education College based in Saltaire to recruit for an exceptional AAT Accounting Lecturer.

The college delivers a range of courses across five centres, from vocational qualifications, adult learning and apprenticeships to higher education. AAT Accounting Lecturer - Full-time 37 hours per week over Monday to Friday

Role responsibilities
- Planning, preparing, teaching/delivering modules and supporting learning on a range

of Accounting and Finance programmes including the new T levels in Accounting and
Finance as well as AAT programmes and apprenticeships up to level 4. Involvement
in leadership and management courses may also be part of the role.
- Course coordination of L4 Part-time/Apprenticeships and T levels in Accounting &
Finance; providing guidance, feedback, support and tutorship for learner groups,
assessing learning, record keeping & delivering high quality teaching
- Experience of using IT effectively to monitor and record progress and targets,

including the use of electronic portfolios
- Observing learners in the workplace and liaising with employers
- Working collaboratively with our partners, Mindful Education, with whom we deliver

our AAT programmes
The person & qualifications
- A relevant degree in Accounting
- A Professional teaching qualification (see person specification) and/or have

significant industry experience in a relevant vocational area
- Experience of working within a post 16 institution
