Scheduling Assistant

Argent FM is a specialist Facilities Management company, serving over 200 public and private sector clients nationally. The buildings we maintain range from housing association to hospital complexes through to corporate HQs and large-scale residential buildings. We are looking for a scheduling assistant to help in our social housing sector.
**Main Skills and attributes**
- Understanding of scheduling processes and systems.
- Have a good understanding of reactive and planned maintenance works in the residential sector, to enable planning of works within SLAs / KPIs.
- Experience of working in a social housing environment desirable.
- IT skills essential (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Have a good telephone manner.
- Experience in customer service useful.
**Main Duties**
- Checking new incoming works to be scheduled, contacting residents and assigning operatives.
- Ensuring all operatives have a full calendar for the following day and beyond.
- Being able to respond when operatives do not turn up for work or their jobs are cancelled last minute.
- Planning out larger works with multi trades to ensure the job runs on time and in the right way.
- Liaise with site operatives for ordering materials and assist in any issues or queries.
- Ensuring follow on works are scheduled in a timely manner.
- Be able to answer incoming calls and queries from residents.
- Be able to answer incoming calls and queries from Argent’s client.
**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
- Colchester: Relocate before starting work (required)
