We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative with a Bendi Licence, for an ASAP start working Monday to Friday, from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, with the appropriate rest breaks.

This role reports into the Goods in/out Palletised Despatch Team Leader. You will carry out duties in all areas of the UK Trade & Direct To Consumer operations.

You may on occasion be required to support our Production team in Rushock (Droitwich), during peak times.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Picking International orders, ensuring that the pallets are stable and picked to the required height, depending on the destination;
- Working and picking to loading dates for all International/ Palletized Loads;
- Liaising with the planning team to manage stock availability in line with outbound schedule;
- Work closely with the Goods In/Out Palletized Dispatch Team Leader to plan the inbound schedule;
- Understand the veterinary and paperwork requirements for country specific loads;
- Review picking layout as and when required to optimize efficiencies;
- Goods Inwards - unloading vehicles and put away into locations;
- Unloading containers - unloading unpalletized loads and palletizing stock; accordingly;
- Complete sample packing for the Technical Manager as and when required;
- Ensure pallets are sufficiently wrapped and photos are taken of all international dispatches
- Advise the Quality Team when loads that require Vet Inspections are completed
- Perpetual inventory in line with weekly / monthly schedule
- React to changes as and when required either relating to the order or dispatch date
- To commit to the continued development, sustainment, and improvement of the organisations Quality Management System, and any future management systems that the company may decide to implement;
- To abide by Health and Safety regulations, and roles and responsibilities as defined in the company’s Health & Safety Policy.

Experience and Skills Required:

- Bendi Licence essential;
- Warehouse/ Production experience;
- Health and Safety, and Quality Management aware;
- Current MHE licenses & experience desirable;
- Team player;
- Excellent communicator;
- Able to work unsupervised to required standards;
- Numerate and literate;
- Excellent attention to detail.
