_**We are looking for a Warehouse Operative **_
- **The Role**:_

Our Redditch based Warehouse requires a pro-active and enthusiastic individual to join their removals team working mainly in the warehouse, with occasional off site removal support. You will have a reach truck license and preferably experience within the removal industry or worked in a similar role. Most duties will be carried out working within the warehouse, however there will be some administration responsibilities and therefore you will need to be computer literate with a good standard of English.

**Principle duties**:

- Ensure customers belongings are stored correctly to allow for maximum efficiency and utilisation of space available within the warehouse and site adhering to all health and safety guidelines**.**
- Ensure all goods are labelled as per company operating guidelines ensuring accurate and up to date records are maintained
- Ensure all goods moved in and out of the warehouse & site have the correct paperwork
- Assist crews to prepare & unload their vehicles in a timely and efficient way
- Monitor and maintain the on-site diesel supply within health and safety guidelines advising the office in a timely manner to ensure demand is met
- Carry out support driver duties as advised by the site management
- Absence cover for Site Manager duties, including preparing and managing day sheets for Operational Staff and maintaining operational system.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Maintain the warehouse and site in a secure manner at all times whilst allowing for practical and safe working practices
- Manage and maintain the warehouse and site in a clean, tidy and efficient manner to meet the company’s site guidelines
- Record and maintain a stock of packing materials to meet anticipated demand within the budgeted cash flow allowances ensuring the re-use/recycling of materials to minimise wastage
- Ensure accurate and up to date records are maintained for the movement of all goods in and out of the site
- Supervise the arrival and efficient departure of crews when covering opening or closing duties of the site
- Record and report to the site management any anomalies of goods in and out of the site

We operate from 4 branches across the UK, with our Drivers and Packers being the face of the business. Packing and moving personal possessions in a careful and safe manner whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.
