**Learning Support Assistant**

We are working with a large performing arts SEN school in **Godstone** postcode **RH9 8ND** who are looking to recruit experienced Student Support Assistants. The roles will be due to start ASAP and are permanent working directly through the school. They will begin with a probationary period and if this is passed there are permanent contracts available.

The school caters for young people aged 18 - 25 who have physical disabilities and, in some cases, personal care needs. The ideal person will need to be flexible as you will be working across the school as and where required. If you are passionate about arts, this is the role for you.

Your working days will be Monday - Friday, and the hours will vary due to the work being shift work. You will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours a week, the shifts are usually **7am - 3pm, 9am-5pm** and then **2pm - 10pm** the following week and so on. Occasional weekend work may be required too of which you would have days off in the week to accommodate this.

**Following a two-week rota system incorporating early and late shift patterns including some weekend working**

It is essential that you have previous experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs, are confident in delivering personal care and working with students with Learning Difficulties.
- Full driving license (due to location). Nearest village is Godstone and reachable via bus from there.
- Experience working with children and adults that have Learning difficulties
- Advantageous to be from a care background

The school is set in lovely surroundings with many outstanding facilities and they have an incredibly supportive structure throughout the school to support all pupils and staff.
