Baker

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled baker to join our busy family run business. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality and delicious taste of the pastries/cakes already in place whilst incorporating your own skills, ideas and flair. Within the theme of what we serve, you will be free to create the cakes, bakes, pastries and sweet treats of your choice. As a café, we offer a range of delicious treats on the takeaway counter as well as an extensive range of traditional cakes within our cafe.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of scones, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods
- Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Assist with stock management and inventory control
- Clean and maintain baking equipment and work areas

**Skills**:

- Proficient in kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of culinary principles and techniques
- Experience in a restaurant or bakery setting
- Ability to bake, cook, and produce high-quality baked goods
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
