Night Baker

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and highly motivated artisan baker to join our team. Due to expansion we have various roles available, as an artisan baker, you will work alongside our bakers and assist in the baking and packing of our award winning sourdough. Your attention to detail and knowledge of food safety will contribute to the success of our bakery.

The bakery runs from Monday to Saturday which will involve occasional weekend working.

start time is 4:30pm until finish usually 2am but can vary with the needs of the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation, production and packing of various baked goods, including sourdough, ciabatta and pastries
- Operate various baking equipment.
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to specification
- Packing of finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a bakery or food production setting is preferred
- Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
