- **Job Purpose**:

To prevent and resolve homelessness wherever possible by providing advice, information and ongoing support to those in housing need.
- To assess, advise and assist customers under the relevant statutory housing and homelessness legislation.
To deal with an outstanding caseload as well as new allocated cases in a robust and timely manner under the relevant housing and homelessness legislation, policies and procedures.
- To maximise the number of positive homelessness prevention and relief outcomes and minimise the use of temporary accommodation.
- To carry out needs, risks and support assessments, develop Personalised Housing Plans and issue robust notification/s.184 decision letters in accordance with legislation, Council policies and procedures.
