Our client based in Tring is looking for a Conference and Accommodation Assistant Account manager to join their ever growing team.
The role will be require you to take accommodation and conference enquiries, contacting hotels and venues to assess availability, negotiating rates and terms with the venues, and creating proposals to send to the clients and producing confirmations.
You will be working alongside Account Managers and Coordinators, within small teams dedicated to a select portfolio of key blue chip clients and you will be enthusiastic, organised and computer literate with good telephone skills. It is likely that you willhave had at least 2 years' experience within the travel, venue, agency or hotel industry, and will be confident dealing with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
The role is offering a competitive salary of £23,000-£25,000 per annum plus overtime for any hours worked over the standard. The working week is 9-5:30 Monday to Friday.
In return you will benefit from their company pension scheme and free onsite parking with an allocated space, access to profit share after 1 year which works out to 5%-10% of base salary and there is also additional commissions which works out to around £500-£1,000per year.
