Infopro Digital group is recruiting for a **Quality Auditor** on a permanent basis to join it’s Barbour ABI brand.
Barbour ABI is the UK’s leading provider of intelligence and lead generation services that help clients to generate new business opportunities from the construction sector. With more than 80 years of experience and 100+ colleagues based at Cheshire Oaks within our research, sales, client management and marketing teams, the quality of our data collection processes and existing knowledge in researching and tracking construction projects is second to none - we publish the UK Government’s National Infrastructure & Construction Pipeline and provide the Office for National Statistics with critical data to produce its Construction New Orders estimates.
**Key task and responsibilities**:
We are looking for a Quality Auditor to join our Research team at Barbour ABI. Primarily this role involves auditing data that is collected from Local Authority planning sites throughout the UK and ensuring data is inputted with accuracy onto our company database.
Analytical skills are vital as you will be collecting and analysing data. Attention to detail is a key part of the role.
The tasks are as follows:
- Using CARS internal database and the local planning authority websites to ensure all planning data has been captured.
- Consulting with our IT team to ensure capture methods are working correctly by a ticketing log.
- Quality checking work produced by the data entry team in India, Mphasis, and providing constructive feedback and cascading information back to the Research Team.
- Forward thinking, problem solving and decisive actions by communicating directly with our data entry team or council planning contacts.
- Hitting daily targets with regards to Quality Audit checks and daily tasks
**Requirements**:
The role of Quality Auditor within the Infopro Digital group is for you if you have the following skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is key
- Able to meet deadlines, multitask and prioritise workload
- Good knowledge of Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of Excel
- Numeracy skills for checking data
- Use of formulas on Excel is desirable but not essential
