Simpson Judge are working with a manufacturing business in Leicester as they look to strengthen their Credit Team by appointing a Credit Controller into the business.
The role is located close to Leicester and would be commutable from all areas of Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Melton Mowbray and Grantham.
The business has seen tremendous success over the last 5 years and continue with their growth by providing a diverse product portfolio for their clients / customers. They've created great household brands and work with leading distributors to get their products to the every-day consumer.
As Credit Controller, you will be involved in areas such as:
- Reducing aged debt
- Liaising with internal / external stakeholders
- Communicating with customers with regards to invoices / collections
- Upkeep and reconciliations of accounts
- Posting cash
- Reporting as seen adequate for meetings
- Monitor Accounts Receivable Ledger
- Look into repayment terms and negotiate within guidelines.
Prior Credit Control experience is desirable, but you will also be considered if you've come from a Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable background.
To be successful, you will need:
- Good level of Credit Control experience (desirable)
- Experience within Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable
- Great with Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable with problem solving.
- Comfortable with debt chasing.
