**Project Coordinator required for an immediate start
**Location: North Somerset
- **

**Length: 3 months, temporary ongoing**

**Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon - Fri**
- Main responsibilities of the role_
- Support the department with the delivery of minor projects for the enhancement, refurbishment and improvement of facilities across the organisation
- Work collaboratively and effectively with the other Estates Officers and Team Leaders to ensure smoothly run projects
- Assist with the delivery of a range of improvement and refurbishment projects that help to deliver a fit for purpose, efficient and fully functional facilities
- Coordinate and undertake minor projects, ensuring that the organisation are providing an efficient, reliable and focused service to its stakeholders
- Ensure that designated schemes are delivered within cost and time targets
- Prepare quotations, place orders and manage delegated Small Works enquiries
- Maintain records of all small work activity
- Act as authorised signatory of payments to contractors, suppliers and in signing off direct labour costs
- Ensure compliance with all current statutory legislation, and local policies when implementing a Small Works scheme
- Liaise with Departmental Heads regarding the planning, costing and programming Small Works schemes
- Liaise with the Site Team and Estates team to ensure joined up communication when organising contracted works in busy areas
- Direct the efforts of the Small Works team with support from the Service Co-ordinators to ensure that the departments key performance indicators (KPI’s) are met
- Requirements:_
- You must have experience working within project administration previously
- Experience of building projects and have knowledge of CDM
- Ability to priorities tasks, work to strict deadlines and collaboration working
- You will ideally be Prince 2 qualified
