**HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN - HYBRID WORKING**

The role of **Head of Supply Chain** sits in our spectacular Merchandising and Supply Chain department where you will be accountable for linking operation planning to sales targets and optimising cost outcomes through management of effect 3PL relationships, continuous improvement, transformation and compliance of supply chain processes and properties. Ensuring smooth, agile and responsive delivery of products to end customer in the most cost-effective manner for the overall business.
- Day to day as a _**_Head of Supply Chain:_**
- Ensures Joules uphold Bonded and AEO status compliantly through efficient, compliant and effectiveness processes
- Delivers continuous improvement and transformation to end to end supply chain for Joules to deliver continual cost improvement
- Maintains effective 3PL relationships across Freight, DC and carriers that continually optimise cost, agility and environmental benefit for Joules
- Delivers an operational roadmap fit for Joules strategy for profitable growth, relevant to territory, channel and end customer benefit
- Remains firmly within Joules set buffet for Supply Chain (freight, DC and carriers), seeking to deliver benefit & creating cases for exceeding
- Accountable for right stock, right time, right place in relation to push of stock to stores, ensuring costs minimised in recall/markdown of goods
- Accountable for costs, KPIs and status of supply chain health
- Accountable for continual assessment of current processes and driving and implementing improvement initiatives across the supply chain
- Champions lean stock principles for inbound, outbound and warehousing processes; challenging other departments where required to deliver
- Accountable for capacity across freight, DC and carriers being suitable for demand requirements, spotting risk and opportunities in relation to cost
- What we need you to have:_
- Experience in clothing retailing in relation to supply chain management, planning and operations
- Strong leadership skills and demonstration of developing and building high-performing cross functional teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and commercial skills
- Ideally experienced with ERP and WMS systems and data
- Ideally experienced with project management methodologies and business case creations
- Able to demonstrate a positive, collaborative approach to work
- Can articulate a strategic vision for your department and can get your teams ‘on board’ to deliver
- Be quick to jump on opportunities to enhance the overall company position, particularly in relation to customer satisfaction through delivery
- Can establish criteria for success and review progress against that criteria, taking appropriate corrective actions where required
- Always suggesting ways to improve costs and calculating the cost of new ideas
- Can find solutions without input and can think laterally to understand process enhancements for the wider business and customer benefit
- Actively delegates responsibility to allow for personal growth of their team and allows room for stretch. Allows individuals to make decisions.
- Strong organisation is key to this role - from people management to developing new processes, strategies and delivering robust reporting
