**Care Co-ordinator/Care Co-ordinator Assistant**

Alpenbest Care, is an organization who pride themselves on being able to offer care packages to meet individual needs, requires dedicated Care Coordinator to join their expanding team.
**Main Responsibilities**:
To ensure packages are sourced, whether through social services/ private referrals, recruiting new staff to meet demand for packages, as well ensuring training and procedures and policies is in place.
- On call working as required by the needs of the business.
- To provide comprehensive and administrative support to Care Coordinators for smooth coordination between Carers and Service Users. Ensure all supervision targets, spot checks, one-to-one meetings, etc are met.
- Co-ordinate, plan and manage complex staff rotas, ensuring adequate staff cover. Ensure changes are reflected as soon as possible on the rostering system.
- Creating and implementing support plans.
- Understanding of current CQC regulations as well as social services regulations.
- To make sure Service Users and Care workers data is always up to date.
- Carrying out administrative tasks as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree Preferred. NVQ Level 2+
- A good working knowledge of care standards in domiciliary care preferred.
- Must have relevant experience in domiciliary care.
- Excellent communication skills orally and in writing.
- Computer literate - good skills in Word, and Excel as well as use of databases
- Experience in project support and logístical planning with the ability to work independently, with mínimal supervision and to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills
- Ability to approach confidential matters with discretion, sensitivity and diplomacy
- Good team worker and communicator. Flexible and co-operative working style.
