The VAT team operates under a Hybrid Variable working pattern, ideally you would be in the new Leeds office once a week and 4 days a week from home, however this is negotiable.

**What you will be doing**:

- Lead a team of 14 VAT Compliance Analysts, Senior Analysts and a Training & Operational Lead.
- Provides support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), including hiring and projects to support transformation, team performance and operational delivery for clients.
- Build an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Lead all aspects of the day-to-day VAT Compliance operation and ensure delivery of VAT returns to SLA deadlines
- Working with multi-disciplinary partners to resolve complex queries
- Handling and developing internal control mechanisms, such as Risks Logs, SOPs and audits
- Ownership of QlikView data and integrity, supporting the developers as required
- Identify knowledge gaps, owning the design and delivery of training sessions and presentations
- Deliver presentations to internal/external partners through visits, meetings and VAT seminars
