Our client is a growing electrical company who are focused on becoming the leading supplier in their field. The business is an online retailer that are currently experiencing significant growth and investment, looking to build a high-performing team to future-prooftheir business and influence change.

- Chance to work closely with NPD department and help the business bring new leading-edge products to market, through continuous quality checks, sampling, testing etc.
- As a lot of the sourcing is done from the Far East, you'll have the opportunity to travel to China 1-2 times a year to meet and audit suppliers, review factory set ups etc.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Championing company's quality department, influencing strategy and improving business performance through minimising quality issues
- Managing a small quality team of Quality Technicians with outlook to grow team aligned with business growth.
- Maintaining strong relationships with Far East suppliers, including use of supplier scorecards to monitor and improve performance.
- Assisting the NPD department with the development of new products.
- Liaising with a number of different business functions including NPD, Warehouse, Sourcing etc.
**What we need from you**:
- You'll be an experienced and ambitious Quality Manager - Finished goods experience is essential, prefereably monitoring electrical/appliance/lighting products.
- Strong technology skills, familiar using systems such as Excel, ERP, WMS etc.
- Strong supplier management experience, with proven record of improving supplier performance. Experience using supplier scorecards would be advantageous.
