Our client, a leading manufacturer in the food industry is seeking a driven Quality Manager to lead their Quality Assurance team and drive continuous improvement across the site. Responsibilities: -Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, driving a culture of excellence and accountability. -Report directly to the Technical Manager and act as deputy in their absence. -Maintain and develop the site's Quality Management Systems, ensuring all procedures and documentation are current and compliant. -Ensure the site remains audit-ready at all times and meets all customer, BRC, and regulatory standards. -Lead the HACCP team and manage the site's HACCP plans effectively. -Oversee the internal audit programme, ensuring timely completion and follow-up of actions. -Support external audits and customer visits. -Drive and promote continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of quality and food safety. Requirements: -Proven experience in a Quality Management or Senior Quality Assurance role within food manufacturing. -A strong understanding of HACCP principles and BRC standards. -Previous experience working to major retailer standards. -Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop, coach, and motivate a team. -Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to influence at all levels. -A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline).
