**Office Administrator**:
Calnex Solutions is a growing and successful technology company based in Linlithgow, Scotland with additional locations in Belfast, Northern Ireland and the US, supported by sales teams in mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia and India.
We design, produce and market test equipment that enables our customers to validate the performance of the critical infrastructure associated with telecoms networks.
**Specific tasks will include but are not limited to**:
- General office administration including reception, mail distribution, printer and stationery/supplies stock management amongst other daily administration tasks that contribute towards the running of an organised, efficient and pleasant office environment.
- Events management support for employee events - organising catering, purchasing branded gifts etc.
- The delivery of staff wellbeing benefits which include daily online wellbeing classes such as Yoga, Pilates and Circuit training.
- Supporting our ESG initiatives such as administration of our charitable giving and volunteering schemes, as well as organising our annual Christmas charity raffle.
- Creation and distribution of our monthly employee newsletter.
- First point of contact for all day to day facility concerns and requirements for our Linlithgow and Stevenage office.
- Supporting the onboarding process for new employees to Calnex.
- Local and international travel and accommodation support for the Calnex team.
- Ad hoc and project based administrative tasks as required by the worldwide Calnex team
**You will ideally have**:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an office-based environment with experience of administering tasks and processes.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a diverse workload, meet deadlines and provide flexible support to the Calnex team.
- Proficient Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and internet navigation skills.
- SharePoint knowledge would also be advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to ask questions and suggest improvement.
- Full UK driving license and use of own car.
**And also the ability to**:
- Act on own initiative, deal with the unexpected and plan ahead.
- Create and maintain effective working relationships, working co-operatively with others to achieve a common goal and communicate information in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
- Maintain a positive ‘can do’ attitude and work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Meet tight and changing deadlines.

The Calnex team are currently working in a hybrid model where we work from home 1-3 days per week at our manager’s discretion. This flexibility is dependent on job role and supports a positive work/life balance and the needs of the business. This role requires a minimum of 4 working days in the office, with one day at home. This is a full time position 37.5 hours per week with salary on offer circa £20,000 depending on experience.
