Kitchen Porter - £9.50 per hour - Lancing

Are a kitchen porter looking for a work life balance but still want to work in a large kitchen and a team of 4 porters and 8 chefs?

Do you have experience of being a kitchen porter and enjoy the buzz of supporting a busy kitchen operation, if so then this could be the job for you.

A college in the Worthing area are looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter

You will be working 40 hrs per week, 5 shifts spread over 7 days, 2 days per week and working every other weekend.

Working hours are straight shifts and a mix of early shifts and late shifts but no late finishes as the kitchen closes between 7 and 8pm.

Over time is available if you wish but this is PAID as extra and can be very lucrative.

What do you need to get the job as a Kitchen Porter
- Previous Kitchen Porter experience
- The ability to want to this job as can be very demanding sometimes
- Reliability
- Team Player and excellent attitude

Main responsibilities as a Kitchen Porter
- Washing up manually and using machinery
- Cleaning the kitchen daily and weekly/monthly deep cleans
- Some basic food prep to help the chefs
- Maintain a healthy environment and tidy work station
