**Job Title**:Kitchen Porter

**Reporting to**: Head Chef, Second Chef, General Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor, Head Stewards

**Main duties**
- Carrying out various preparation and cleaning duties in the establishment under the direction of the management team
- Assisting the Head/Second Chef in the provision of food to the agreed standard within the budgetary limitations
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the food preparation and storage areas.
- Cleaning of kitchen equipment and areas according to the cleaning schedule and management teams’ request.
- Porterage of any foods and equipment to wherever necessary, as required by the management team.
- Assisting in the food preparation areas as required by the management team.
- Maintaining and improving standards of safety and hygiene to create a healthy and safe environment.
- Carrying out all tasks in co-ordinance with safe systems of work, assured safe catering and company policies.
- Attending meetings and training sessions as and when requested by the management team.
- Attending the workplace at the required times in the correct uniform to promote a professional image and good customer relations.
- Assisting at special functions from time to time or as requested by the management team.
- Carrying out any reasonable requests by the management team.

Pay: £24,232.00 per year
