We have an exciting opportunity within our Catering Department who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated** Food Services Assistant.** **You will join on a Term Time (34 weeks per year) Part Time basis (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 4.30pm-7.30pm 9 hours x 34 weeks + Saturday 9am-5pm x 17 weeks per annum)** and in return we will offer you a competitive salary and benefits package which includes a free lunch/supper whilst on duty, subsidised membership to the Wellington Health & Fitness Club, contribution to our personal pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, enhanced Maternity / Paternity scheme, cycle to work scheme, free parking and access to a health cash plan. **About the role**: **Key responsibilities include (Please see job description for full details)**: - To assist with the food service within the dining hall. - To assist with all aspects of the preparation and presentation of food service areas to the required standard. - The understanding and action all children with food allergies, intolerances and dietary requests. - To ensure the taking of food temperatures for all meal services. - To assist with the preparation, laying up and service of functions and match teas. - To assist with the clearing of function rooms as required. - To assist the laying up and clearing of the dining room. - To assist with clearing the teacher’s staffroom and restocking as required. - To always ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining room and food service areas. - To carry out domestic duties within the school when required. - To carry out any reasonable tasks required by the Management Team.
