College Shop Customer Sales Advisor

Wellington College is one of the world’s leading co-educational boarding and day schools and had an enviable reputation for excellence and innovation. Situated within the grounds of the College is the Wellington College Shop. The College Shop is a retail business entity within Wellington Commercial Enterprises Ltd which serves both the immediate and wider Wellington Community as well as external visitors. It is responsible for managing the timely supply of all uniform for both Wellington College students and Eagle House School pupils, together with other non-consumable items (e.g. equipment, stationery & gi ware) as well as the provision of an appropriate tuck supply. The department continually strives to achieve excellent customer service in all its service deliveries to the College and beyond.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working within the retail industry to join the team on a part time (20 hours per week, typically delivered beterrn 09.00 - 18.00, as business operations dictate. Available Mon-Sat plus 1 x Sun per annum. **About the role**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Cashing up - balance all media payments (incl. web orders) at the end of the day and ensure floats are correct
- Provide accurate information to manage customer expectations, e.g. student account enquiries, balance transfers; stock enquiries; uniform requirements & 'student life'
- Deliver 1-2-1 personal KO services for students, pupils and staff as required and support all preparations for the KO season
- Recording, fulfilling, and distributing customer orders: prepare, package & record all despatches in timely manner and deliver to boarding houses, other College departments and Eagle House School as required
- Assist in the receipt of stock, logging consignment information and quality checking of all deliveries (shop, performance wear, tours & tournaments & staff kit)
- Product merchandising & displays both in College shop and any College satellites
- Input to product promotion & information updates for the College Shop website
- Receive, sort and administer sales of suitable College second-hand uniform
- Maintain appropriate stock levels & ensure efficient stock rotation to minimise wastages
- Manage the general appearance of College Shop, incl. general cleaning & housekeeping tasks incl appropriate recycling and waste disposal of packaging & other College Shop waste
- Report lost property found on College Shop premises
- Undertake any other reasonable duties or training required for the performance of your duties as directed by our line manager or College directives
