**Key Tasks**
- Maintain drivers hours map
- Book agency drivers as required from supplier
- Support to ensure sufficient resources are available to fulfil all shuttle plans, outbound plans, backhaul plans
- Sell loads to subcontractor as required with agreed prices and margin
- Buy backhaul loads as available in line with requirements
- Ensure all work undertaken is raised correctly and comprehensive
- information is recorded on TMS
- Consolidate orders in most efficient manner
- Route multi-drops in most appropriate manner
- Plan DD trailers to maximum use at point of consolidation
- Maintain drivers holiday plan in line with company requirements

Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with knowledge of transport planning and operations
- Computer literate (with previous experience of transport software)
- Knowledge of driver's hours regulations and working time rules
- Good knowledge of UK geography and able to estimate journey times
- Initiative and determination to solve problems
- Great verbal communication skills and an ability to build rapport
