Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic **Learning Support Assistant** to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing one-to-one and group support for students with diverse SEN requirements, including those with learning, behavioural, and communication challenges.
- Assisting teachers with planning and delivering tailored interventions and learning strategies.
- Supporting the development of students’ confidence, social skills, and independence.
- Collaborating with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure students receive consistent and comprehensive support.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and contributing to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

**About You**:

- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational or SEN setting.
- A good understanding of a range of SEN needs and effective support strategies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,898.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
