This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background or interest in education, care, youth work, or equality to contribute to the achievement and progress of students with SEND, including those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). **About the Role**: As a Teaching Assistant at KPHS, you will: - Work predominantly in classrooms, supporting SEND students, including those with SEMH needs. - Provide additional intervention to address individual learning needs, including pre-learning, over-learning, social and communication skills, and co-regulation techniques. - Promote inclusion, independence, and positive relationships among students. - Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and the SENCO to ensure all students thrive. - Deliver structured interventions and participate in the creation of individual SEND Passports. - Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting equality and diversity. **About You**: We are looking for someone who: - Is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential. - Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Can work collaboratively with a range of professionals and contribute to a positive learning environment. - Is eager to develop their skills through training and professional development. - Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of students.
