Following a recent discussion with the HR manager at our partner secondary school, it has been highlighted that they could benefit from several SEN Teaching Assistants preparation for when the schools returns from Easter break.

SEN Teaching Assistants employed at our client school will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with identified students who may otherwise struggle to engage within a classroom environment.

You will play a vital role within the school to ensure that lessons operate smoothly, and students are able to complete all of the work set by the teacher. You will be supportingthose with complex needs in a specialised classroom environment, encouragingpositive classroom behaviours and guaranteeing that these identified students are causing mínimal disruption to the learning of their peers.

Our client school is in Rochdale. The school currently has around 30 pupils on roll and was graded ‘Good’ in their most recent Ofsted report.It has excellent public transport links to via Bus, Train or Car.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
