This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded manufacturing and distribution group in the Tamworth area, initially on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract but with the potential for permanent employment or further extension.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your remit will include:

- Leading a small team you be responsible for the financial reporting of multiple P&L's ensuring that all group deadlines are met
- Supporting business performance analysis including attending business meetings and being the 'go to' person for operations management regarding finance issues and information requests
- Preparation and ongoing review of divisional budgets and forecasts
- Management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Quarterly VAT returns and assisting with Corporation Tax reporting to group
- Coaching and developing the team
- Implementing process and systems improvement initiatives
- Liaising with external auditors

We are seeking a qualified accountant (possible a 'QBE') who is pro-active and 'hands-on' in style - someone who will take responsibility and develop the team. The role is ideally suited to an accountant with manufacturing and/or distribution experiencewith prior experience of multi-location P&L responsibility.
