**What will I get involved with?**

As the finance and procurement assistant, you will play a crucial part in providing a best in class financial & procurement service to the wider organisation by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, payments and purchasing. You will have the opportunity to work with buyers from all departments, assisting them in the procurement process. Your organisational skills will be key in ensuring that supplier invoices and expenses payments are made in a timely manner. Your significant financial knowledge and experience will be essential in producing accruals and prepayments for expenses on a monthly basis. Your strong attention to detail and report writing skills will be valuable in supporting the business controller in providing high quality management information. You will also be involved in supporting finance and/ or procurement related projects.

**Essential**:
As a growing business, there is career development potential for our team. Although it is not essential for you to be a qualified accountant, you do need to be currently studying towards (or interested in working towards) an accountancy qualification. Your career to date probably won't have been a 'straight line' but you will have significant and broad experience in finance and procurement including in purchase and sales ledger, VAT and PAYE and good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures. You will also have some project management experience in the finance and/ or IT arena.

We are looking for a personable professional with enthusiasm, passion and energy who is self motivated and can meet deadlines within a fast paced and dynamic environment. You must be a quality focused team player who can work well remotely if required. You will need to be prepared to challenge where appropriate and come with a proactive and flexible approach. You should also demonstrate strong personal motivation, great communication and organisational skills.
**Desirable**:
An accountancy qualification and/ or a finance related degree would be a bonus as would experience of Finance & Procurement experience in a Tech/Start-up environment**. **Experience using Netsuite, SAP and/or Xero, using and tracking delivery times would be beneficial.
