**What are the responsibilities of an Prescription Administrator?**

Our Prescription Administrators are responsible for delivering a professional, safe and efficient prescription service to our patients and the wider clinical and reception teams.

You will resolve prescription queries using the relevant protocol, to appropriately review, verify and process prescriptions in a timely manner.

Other day-to-day duties include actioning hospital letters and providing excellent telephone advisory service to external customers (eg: dealing with specific medication related queries).

As a result, you will be responsible for maintaining appropriate clinical knowledge as required for the role.

- High attention to detail and an ability to work autonomously to meet individual and team targets
- Good team work skills, allowing them to work effectively with the wider practice clinical team, reception team and local surgery team
- Good mathematical skills

**Hours: 28 hours per week, specific days TBA**
