**UK College of Business and Computing **has a fantastic new opportunity for a **Student Advisor** to join the team. You will join us on a **part time (across 3 days)**, **permanent basis.**

**About the Student Advisor Role**:
As our **Student Advisor**, you will provide central support for a range of primary student related activities and queries relating to a student’s day to day life at college. But also providing a level of support in coordinating the student studies, adding value to the Learner journey and enhancing the student experience.

You will be responsible for a number of reception/campus duties such as meeting and greeting applicants, Students and clients and ensuring that high levels of Customer service are being provided within the Campuses at all times. The role requires you to be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines and to work under your own initiative or part of a team when required.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities of our Student Advisor**:

- Providing outstanding advice, guidance and support for existing students and visitors to the campus, both verbal and written
- Enrolling students on the course, conduction student data/information checks during the enrolment, participate in the induction duties after each intake. Data entry/check on the student management system
- SITS from Tribal
- Issuing ID cards and letters to students
- Maintaining and improving overall student satisfaction
- Participating in the promotion of National student survey, course feedbacks and other surveys
- Participating in the election of student representatives
- Ensuring all students are equipped with the correct information relevant to their chosen course i.e. timetables, class changes, awarding body requirements etc.
- Providing written and verbal advice and guidance to prospective and successful students
- The above list of duties is neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder may be required to undertake duties as may be reasonably expected within the scope and grading of the post and within the competencies of the post holder. All Staff are required to be professional, supportive and flexible in line with their position, department and the college. _

**What we’re looking for in our Student Advisor**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Desirable)
- Experience working in the Education sector
- A proven track of working in a busy team and building beneficial working relationships across teams within Higher Education sector
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- The ability to deal confidently and sensitively with students and team members
