Teaching Assistant

AK Teaching are currently working in partnership with a large Secondary School in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This particular client are looking for multiple Teaching Assistants to support across KS3 and 4. The school would ideally like the Teaching Assistants to be adaptable to working with SEN children should it be required.

The school would offer training and support with this role to ensure as a Teaching Assistant you are given the tools to support effectively.

Hours for the role would be 8:30am-3:30pm. This role will be 5 days a week.
- Have a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Have experience working within a Secondary School setting.
- Have experience working with school aged learners with additional needs.
- Be committed to working full time.
- Have a DBS on the update service or be prepared to do one through AK Teaching.

**Salary**: £75.00-£100.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching Assistant: 1 year (required)

- United Kingdom (required)
