**Salary: £24k + Uncapped commission £30-45k first year OTE, £55-65k second year**

Theyare now looking to grow their London team by hiring a number of trainee recruitment consultants.

**IT Recruitment - Market Overview**

My client provides customers with highly skilled IT specialists for contract and permanent roles. They combine in-depth market knowledge with a technology-led approach to find the best talent available in the market place to meet client needs.

**Technical Recruitment**

Each Trainee Recruitment Consultant specialises in a key vertical market, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise to provide a highly polished, consultative service. Services are on a contingency basis and cover areas such as: software development, testing,business intelligence, middleware, infrastructure / support / networking, project management, business analysis and senior roles such as IT Managers / Directors.

**Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant**:
To provide support to an experienced Consultant working a specific market, and to grow and develop a vertical market. Working across the recruitment life-cycle.

*Detailing relevant information from interviews in the appropriate format

*Working to structured and agreed KPI’s

*Arranging interviews

*Client engagement to manage interview process

*Generate new business opportunities

*Agreement of terms and conditions

*Manage and monitor activity on a weekly, monthly and annual basis

*Successfully build, manage and develop relationships with key client stakeholders

*Input of information to company database

*Provide accurate weekly and monthly business forecasts

*Report to appropriate line manager on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis where required

*Manage and prioritise workloads

**Level of experience need for trainee recruitment consultants**:
*Graduate or similar level of experience

*Knowledge of the role of a recruitment consultant

*Working in a B2B environment (B2C considered)

*Motivated and enthusiastic about a career in sales and recruitment

*Confident problem solver

*Consistency in performance

*Excellent presentation skills

*Good commercial awareness through self development (industry press, events etc)

**Key Performance Indicators**

*Individual business plans and objective agreed and met

*Daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s monitored and hit

*Consistent permanent revenue of £7-10k / month OR running 5-8 contractors consistently (average margin £60/day+)

*Successful negotiation and agreement of terms and conditions

*Client testimonials achieved

*Proven knowledge and understanding of technical market vertical

*Annual business objectives are achieved

*Positive attitude to work

*Individual promotion target achieved to Recruitment Consultant

Trainee Recruitment Consultants can expect to progress toRecruitment Consultant in 6-12 months on the successful achievement of agreed goals and revenue levels. Trainee’s can expect to earn £30-45k in their first year.
