Job Title: Data Entry Admin

Type: Full time 35 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract for 6 months initially

Based: Hybrid between our Burntwood, Staffordshire head office and WFH (2 days a week)

Reports to: Project Manager

**Salary**: £26,000 DOE (Pro rata)

About the role

Busy Bees are embarking on an exciting program of transformation, including the modernisation of our key informational systems and business processes. This is an opportunity to become part of the team, focusing on enhancing data quality of our nursery care management system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Enter information into databases and/or software programs by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on a keyboard, uploading data from outside sources, and/or transcribing content.
- Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of financial, staff, business and/or customer data before it is entered.
- Compare data with source documents and systems and verify formats to detect and correct data entry errors and reports them to supervisors as needed.
- Maintain operational records and logs of activities and work completed.
- Adhere to organisational processes to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Establish entry priorities by following organisational processes or conferring with team leadership.
- Verify customer and business data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, recovering, or re-entering data.
- Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Look for ways to improve data collection processes, including the design of forms and templates, for data entry.
- Operate office equipment as needed to assist in data entry operations.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications and Training
- School qualification, college diploma or equivalent required
- Previous data entry or clerical experience or experience working in an office setting required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience working with data-entry software.
