Technical Administrator

CK Meats, based in Eye, near Diss is recruiting for people to join our growing business.

To support our growing technical team, we are now recruiting a **Technical Administrator **to support the department. The remit includes the management of customer and supplier data, including approval documentation, specifications and key quality assurance information management systems. You will also manage the quality complaints process including feedback to site process teams and take an active role in technical project work.

A food science degree or equivalent is essential for this role. You will also be numerate and literate and competent with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Main duties will include:*
- Undertake data analysis and report results to relevant departments
- Investigate and respond to lower-tier complaints, and communicate corrective actions, in conjunction with the QA Manager, to the relevant site teams
- Manage the internal and customer specification process to support and cover the Specifications Technologist
- Maintaining and updating the supplier approval system
- Completing customer SAQs and QASs
- Supporting the department with second and third-party audits of the sites
- Conducting internal audits as assigned
- Attending relevant meetings to record minutes
- Assisting the department in the maintenance of relevant QMS/HMS systems, where required
- Conduct traces and mass balances as assigned
- Undertaking and completing requests from the Technical Manager/QA Manager

- Experience in food manufacturing is desired
- Working knowledge of MS Access would be an advantage
