**Residence Co-ordinator**

We are seeking a Residence Co-ordinator to support the Operations Manager and the wider team at our student residence Alma Court, Canterbury.

Our Residence Co-ordinators are responsible for ensuring that a high standard of customer service and administrative support is provided to our residents. You will be the first point of contact on the main reception desk, dealing with all front-line queries both face-to-face and over the telephone, providing high quality customer service.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Be the first point of contact for students, visitors and guests, providing front desk and telephone support
- Deal with resident and customer queries as and when and in accordance with company policy.
- Manage the post/parcels, receiving in and handing out parcels
- Assist in arranging and conducting sales viewings for prospective residents in order to assist student renewal and sales.
- Provide general administrative support to the management team including filing, photocopying, monitoring posters/notices, receiving and distributing post to residents.
- Maintain records of students and occupancy lists.
- Engaging with residents to help provide a ‘home-from-home’ experience.
- Assisting Student Experience events and administration.
- Assisting residents who have lost keys/entry fobs.
- Respond to complaints in accordance with site guidelines, providing support where necessary.
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Ensuring customer expectations and satisfaction is achieved in line with the National Code of Standards

**Role Specific Skills and Abilities**:

- Fluent English required.
- Ability to work without supervision maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good time management
- Proactive and strong ability to problem solve, multi-task, plan and organise.
- Excellent oral and written communication and customer-facing skills and ability to deal with difficult situations. Proven ability to engage with customers, colleagues and third-party suppliers.
- Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, multitasking and meeting deadlines. A calm and professional manner, able to work without constant supervision.
- Ability to undertake repetitive heavy lifting with appropriate equipment if necessary.
- A good understanding of business coupled with a professional attitude.
- IT literate, competent user of Microsoft Office and StuRents
- Experience in a customer facing role in PBSA would be an advantage.
