Due to exciting opportunities with increased orders from customers, we currently have a fantastic opportunity for you to join **STI Limited**as a **Skilled Mechanical Fitter**based at our manufacturing site in**Poynton, Stockport.** You will join uson a **full time permanent basis** working 37 hours flexitime across 4.5 days per week, and in return you will receive a highly competitive salary of **£28,500 - £31,500 per annum**. **This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, time-served, hardworking individual to join a busy and fast-paced team working on a number of interesting and rewarding projects.** **Key responsibilities of our Skilled Mechanical Fitter**: - Use of inspection and measuring equipment i.e. DTI, callipers, micrometres, component measuring to engineering drawings - Assembly of more complex assembly products requiring knowledge of medium to heavy build shimming and balancing all to engineering drawings - Assembly of movable components i.e. various types and sizes of bearings and motor assemblies - Mechanical assembly of 19" racks to involve dimensional set up of runner rails and angles, gland plates, earth bars.
