Our client is currently recruiting pharmaceutical releasing officers for their busy pharmaceutical operation.

Your key responsibility is to perform quality control activities and ensure the compliance to the company’s standard operating procedures and appropriate regulatory authorities, whilst assisting in developing new and existing products.

You will working 37.5 hours per week between core business hours of 0600 - 2200 on a rotational basis. Sunday working is required (1 in 4) however if working a Sunday, you will be off the following Friday.

Job duties of the role include:
- To follow, promote and enforce relevant SOPs & company policies and procedures
- To be capable and undertake quality control lease of material in accordance with defined procedures
- To be capable and undertake release of compounded products in accordance with defined procedures
- To build new products, compile applicable documentation and co-ordinate their approval on the CATO software package
- To actively work towards increasing the shelf life of selected finish products as defined by the quality director

You must have the following skills:
- At least 2 years’ experience GMP experience (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Experience of operating within a similar role
- Scientific degree qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable although not essential depending on experience
- Experience using GxP Quality Management System
- Experience working autonomously and making decisions
- High computer literacy
- Confident dealing with managers and employees across all levels

In return you will have a starting salary of £23,000 rising to £26450 upon successful completion of probationary period. There are also further company benefits which will be explained at interview including a bonus scheme for achieving KPIs.
