**Role - Data Analyst** **Location - Manchester** **Salary - £30,000 - £42,000** **Skills - SQL, Power BI** **Work Pattern - Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in the office** We have a brand-new role for a company in Manchester for a Data Analyst with excellent technical and stakeholder skills. They have recently made some changes at the top and in ownership and as a result they are now looking to progress all areas of the business following significant investment. The company offer this position on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week in the office and they are based in Manchester City Centre, close to transport links. This is a role that we are looking to schedule interviews for as soon as possible so please do reach out if you are interested on finding out more. **Read on for more information**: **The Company**: After a huge amount of investment and a new CEO they are looking to increase their technical capability and an improvement in their analytical offering is "front and centre" of this development. They have a wider team of Data Engineers, Scientists and Analyststo support you in this position. **The Role** This is a newly created role within this team, this is the first time that this particular team will have a dedicated Data Analyst. You will be required. The company is a retail organisation so the types of insights and dashboards you will be working oncover things like customer insights, pricing optimisation etc. There is a huge amount of investment and there are plans to take the current on prem systems to a cloud based, cutting edge system so there is a learning opportunity in the role as this transformation happens and you would be working with technologies likeAzure, Snowflake and Data Bricks in the future. **Key Duties** - Engage with business experts to capture reporting and analytics requirements in structured data mapping documents. - Encourage and support self-serve reporting and dashboards in Power BI that improve operational efficiency and add value to the business. - Work with data engineers as part of an agile scrum team, to ensure that the data warehouse fully enables the business requirements gathered. - Use business and data insights to contribute to the prioritisation of the data platform team. - Define and develop data marts that are the business users window into the data warehouse. **Requirements**: - SQL - Experience with a reporting Tool - Ideally PowerBI - Experience in gathering requirements for dashboards from stakeholders. **Next Steps**: If you a Data Analyst and you are looking to progress with an organisation that has a fantastic approach to work in a supportive and creative environment, then look no further - this is the role for you **Interviews for this role will be held imminently.** To be considered, please send your CV to me now to avoid disappointment. **Referrals**: **Role - Data Analyst** **Location - Manchester** **Salary - £30,000 - £42,000** **Skills - SQL, Power BI** **Work Pattern - Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in the office** Oscar Technology is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
