**Job Title: Data Analyst**

**Salary: £50k - £70k + package**

**Location: Fully Remote**

The role of Data and Reporting Analyst will be to make sense of trends and patterns in data and identify ways to optimise and/or improve Solutions and Services departmental delivery performance.

The role will be highly varied, challenging, and diverse and would suit a self-starter who is able to learn and integrate quickly in this busy department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform data analysis to identify trends, followed by a variety of techniques (such as data mining, statistical analysis etc.) to establish the drivers behind a pattern or trend in the data and any opportunities for optimisation.
- Support business leadership in developing the approach to data analysis (including the processes, tools, techniques, technology and KPIs).
- Proactively engage key functional stakeholders to establish business requirements and potential data analysis studies.
- Identify data sources required for the analysis, collecting, migrating, and cleansing the data.
- Design data recording systems for use throughout the department, maintaining data and performing updates as necessary to ensure accuracy.
- Document reporting requirements and create dashboards and reports using data visualisation and other business intelligence tools, to deliver the findings and any insights to key stakeholders in a compelling way, providing insight into key data points inthe department.
- Provide a level of coordination for the areas involved, to help them implement the findings and monitor results.
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the relevant business units, their strategic goals, operating environment, and market dynamics
- Consulting on areas of uncertainty to promote optimal use of ideas derived from data.
- Prepare consolidated actual and forecast data and reports for use in management performance reporting and MDO submissions

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years' experience working in a data analysis and reporting role, ideally in a Managed Service Provider or Value-Added Reseller environment
- Possesses a solid understanding and demonstrable experience in using the tools, techniques and technologies in the data analysis space, such as data querying using SQL; analysis and forecasting using Excel; creating dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Excellent understanding of data models and the relationship between data and processes.

- Excellent communication skills
- General knowledge of departmental and business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow.
