**Job Purpose**:
To work with Transport Managers and the Operations Team to ensure that Vectare’s passenger transport operations run smoothly, with the aim of ensuring total compliance across the business.

We use our bespoke technology to deliver excellent home to school and corporate transport services to fifty independent schools across the UK and a range of blue-chip corporate clients. We also operate local bus, Park and Ride and demand responsive transport services on behalf of local authorities across the Midlands and the East of England.

Our mission is to deliver excellent road passenger transport to all who require it. We want to see bus and coach travel be a mode that people choose to use rather than just being the mode of last resort.

Our Head Office is in Loughborough, and we have sites in Nottingham (Long Eaton),

**Main duties of the role**:

- Complete DVLA driving licence checks for all new drivers, and complete periodic driving licence checks as required
- Complete regular ID checks for all employees, ensuring that records are kept up to date and the correct information is held
- Cross-check information provided by the Commercial Manager on new drivers and the fleet of company vehicles
- Filing PMI (Periodic Maintenance Inspection) sheets for the fleet and ensuring digital records are kept up to date
- Cross-checking the PMI calendar to ensure that all vehicles have been recorded and that inspections are not overdue
- Ensuring tax records for all vehicles are kept up to date, and any new vehicles that enter the fleet are taxed
- Maintaining general vehicle records
- Assist with maintaining, circulating and updating Health & Safety and GDPR policies
- Assist with maintaining, circulating and updating Employee and Driver Handbooks to all new starters
- Maintaining company recruitment, complaints, record management, training policies through regular review and updates
- Collate route risk assessments
- Manage the fire alarm, health and safety, PAT testing, waste disposal documents for the Loughborough depot
- Manage and maintain COSHH and RIDDOR records
- Provide advice to other members of staff in relation to compliance matters as requested

**Person Specification**:
**Essential**
- Friendly, flexible, helpful and customer focused
- Computer, smartphone, app and tablet literate
- Extremely comfortable using Microsoft Office software suite
- Full UK car driving licence

**Desirable**
- Experience of using Google Drive
- Experience of using Google Docs and / or Google Sheets
- Experience of working in a similar role

**Remuneration package**:
£24,000 - £27,000 per annum dependant on experience
