Your new company Birmingham City Council are urgently looking to recruit 10 Advanced Social Worker/Senior Social workers to join the local community teams; Hodge Hill, Yardley, Perry Barr, Hall Green, Selly Oak, Northfield, Hall Green and Ladywood constituencies.Your new role As a Qualified experienced Social Worker, you will be working within, strong established Community teams, undertaking complex caseloads with citizens and carers to identify needs and outcomes in the community, completing reviews and attendingand participating in case discussions. You will deliver an enhanced customer experience that promotes the well-being of vulnerable adults within Birmingham to enable them to live independently for longer, supporting them in retaining and regaining their skillsand confidence. You will have knowledge in management of a complex caseload, good knowledge of safeguarding MCA and Best Interests decision making. Have all round knowledge and familiarity with the Care Act 2014. Experience in using Carefirst/eclipse systemsdesirable, but not essential and training will be given. What you'll need to succeed Previous direct experience of delivering social work to Adult Service users is essential. You must also have knowledge of key legislation, able to produce reports and maintainrecords. To be successful you will require a Social Work qualification (BA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). It is also essential that you have a current professional registration and have a minimum of 2 yrs experience working withadults in a Social Worker position.
