**The Role**

Quality Control Jewellery Assessor

We are seeking a Quality Control Jewellery Assessor to join our operations team based in Birmingham.

You will be responsible for:

- You are responsible for ensuring all business defined quality requirements are delivered ensuring operational and customer service excellences are met at all times.
- All quality control will be carried out on site in our workshop to maintain the high standards we pride ourselves on.
- To be able to identify any substandard repairs and report the findings.
- To be able to assess and determine whether acceptable or not, just as important to be able to judge positively as well as negatively.
- Responsible for reaching daily targets on quality control jobs completed in the workshop.

What we’re looking for:

- An individual with strong knowledge of jewellery (Metals, settings, tolerances, etc).
- High level of attention to detail.
- Jewellery Workshop experience.
- Experience of working within rigid regulations and procedures.
- Strong understanding of repair methods and what the successful outcome should be.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Able to use your initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and effectively.
- Able to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the demands of our department.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, prioritising workload.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year
