We are actively looking to appoint a Branch (Yard) Assistant to join our successful team in our Hereford branch. If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who can work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service, this may be the right opportunity for you

In this role as a Branch (Yard) Assistant some of the duties involve:

- Providing customers with product and service information
- Pick customer orders accurately
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck (FLT licence is desirable but not essential)
- Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
- Serve customers on the trade counter when required
- Customer interaction
You will come to us with:

- Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
Desirable:

- NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing
- A good knowledge of computers
- Forklift truck licence
