We are seeking Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to work in our new home in the Fir Vale Area.

DAISY'S RAINBOW HOMES LTD are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the Management team within our young people’s service 16 to 18 year olds in the Fir Vale Area of Sheffield. This role is full time and permanent.

You will be operating from a brand new service location in 6 bed young person’s accommodation/semi-independent living. This site houses 16 to 18 year old care leavers.

To work with our young people, you will need to have experience of managing emotional and behavioural difficulties. May have suffered neglect, trauma, sexual exploitation, or other types of abuse.

Our aim is to put our young people / children at the heart of everything we do, and the motivation is to give them the best possible future, which every child deserves.

As a member of the team, you will need excellent communication skills to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, cultural, and educational needs of the young people.

You will be able and confident in working within a strong team. You will need to be a positive role model who is able to offer advice, guidance and assistance where appropriate.

It is important that you can work as part of a team along with recording information accurately, sharing reports and details at meetings and child protection conferences.

As a senior staff member, you will need all to manage the shifts and the team to get the best for our young people.

**Job Requirements**
- Level 2/3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce or QCF kevel 4 equivalent. (Desirable but essential for senior support worker role).
- Experience working with children/ young people with challenging behaviours in a residential setting. (Desirable but essential for senior support worker role).
- Be flexible and able to work on a shift/rota basis, including some sleep-ins and weekend (Essential).
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- A full UK driving license.

**Salary**: £11.50-£13.50 per hour
